My TAC article on the Religious Right and religious decline

As you've no doubt noticed, I am not putting as much content up on the blog. Now that I'm writing for The American Conservative, I find that most of the things I want to blog about can be extended into articles for that venue, which is a much bigger platform than this humble site.

So with that said, here is a link to an article I wrote for them about what the latest research indicates about the relationship between the Religious Right and the decline of religious identification in the United States.

Although I will probably be providing more content to TAC and thus putting less material here, I will continue to post material here that would not be appropriate for other venues. More sophisticated quantitative stuff, for example, or thoughts that deserve more than a Tweet, but don't need to be expanded to 900 words, will probably end up here.
